Mapping the structural evolution in supercooled polysiloxane liquids: a combined temperature-resolved WAXD and 2D-COS study

This study shows PDMS oligomers have distinct structural pathways (38–153 K), marked by differing asynchronous 2D-COS patterns: butterfly-shaped (cooling) and saddle-shaped (heating). It gives new insights into non-equilibrium sub- T g dynamics.
