Supplementary activities with vocal repertoire in the music classroom and their application
This research introduces the use of supplementary vocal music as a tool for developing creative tasks during music lessons in the Bulgarian general school system, Grades 1-10. As part of each academic year’s curriculum, several classes that involve practice or observation are introduced. They provide students with opportunities to present a variety of musical performances and creative endeavours, both internally at the school and externally through other youth collaborations. These supplementary activities not only support students ’academic development throughout the school year but also provide a supportive environment for music expression, both individually and in a group setting.
