Tokenized Economies: Redefining Capital, Credit, and Currency with Blockchain
The paper gives an integrated technical study of tokenized economies including the study of implementation of blockchain algorithms and performance evaluation. We create new algorithms of token valuation, automated market making and decentralized credit assessment, implementing them on a variety of blockchain networks. Our experimental methodology compares 15 DeFi protocols in terms of 4 performance attributes: transaction throughput, gas efficiency, liquidity provision effectiveness and risk-adjusted returns. We find that our proposed Token Velocity Optimization Algorithm (TVOA) can increase capital efficiency by 34.7% of the base implementations, and our Dynamic Collateral Assessment (DCA) algorithm can minimize the risk of liquidation by the 28.3%. We use 2.3 million transactions extending across several blockchains (Ethereum, Polygon, and Avalanche) to set performance benchmarks on tokenized financial systems and to determine prevalent algorithmic optimizations. The research provides four new algorithms, experimental performance results and implementation considerations to be used in next-generation tokenized economies.
