NiCo
Electrolytic hydrogen production from water offers high-purity hydrogen and supports environmentally friendly development. We prepared NiCo2S4@Ce2S3/CC catalyst on carbon cloth (CC) substrate using a two-step hydrothermal method. The needle like structure aggregates into large porous cavities, significantly increasing the active surface area and catalytic sites. To achieve 50 mA · cm-2, an overpotential of 0.99 V is required, and the Tafel slope is 106.39 mV · dec -1, demonstrating excellent catalytic activity. The introduction of rare earth element Ce during the catalyst synthesis process provides a feasible strategy for synthesizing high-performance UOR catalysts.
