SYSTEMS BASIC UNITS OF THE UNIVERSE
This paper introduces "Emerge," a theoretical framework that defines a system as a functional boundary restricting the infinite potential of its constituent parts to create a unified identity. Positing that reality originates from chaotic, random processes , the study argues that systems emerge through the application of constraints that force these parts into specific, ordered behaviors. The paper challenges the anthropocentric view of consciousness, redefining it as "State Awareness"—the ability of a system to detect, process, and maintain its own state within a specific layer. A hierarchical model is proposed, categorizing consciousness into four distinct layers: the Passive Consciousness of atomic structures , the Algorithmic Consciousness of logic-based systems , the Reflective Consciousness of human cognition , and the Absolute Consciousness of the Universe. Central to this framework is the "Scope Rule," which posits that a system can only be conscious of its specific operational layer, rendering higher and lower layers inaccessible to its direct perception. Ultimately, the Universe is described as the "Absolute System," a recursive processing engine that constrains infinite probability into order to experience itself.
