Wireless sensor networks’ development features designed by the cluster trees’ topology for multimodal carriers

The relevance of the research is determined by the increasing informatization of multimodal freight transport and the need to ensure the synchronization of freight deliveries. The methodological basis of the research consists of expert judgment methods, mathematical methods, and methods traditionally used in the development of wireless sensor networks. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the presentation of the author’s vision of the task of implementing wireless sensor networks’ designed according to the topology of cluster trees’ for multimodal carriers within the growth of informatization of the transportation process and the increasing need for synchronization of freight deliveries. A conceptual classification scheme for the use of wireless sensor networks based on characteristics in the organization of multimodal deliveries is proposed, a system for the implementation of a wireless sensor network designed by the topology of cluster trees for multimodal carriers is proposed, and a comparative analysis of the effectiveness of wireless sensor network topologies for multimodal carriers was conducted, proving the greatest effectiveness of cluster trees topology.
