Balancing the unseen struggle at work: Exploring the intersection of infertility, distress, and insurance

This work aims to research the overlooked aspect of women in the workforce who are confronting infertility struggles by examining the association of possible increased job insecurity and psychological experiences on the work outcomes of these women. This research explores how structural support, operationalized in this study as supplemental insurance, could potentially highlight the need for further studies. The study utilized participants gathered from the Australian Longitudinal Study on Women's Health (ALSWH) which encompasses over 14,000 women and spans 18 years, beginning with Survey Two conducted in 2000 when participants were between 22 and 27 years old, and ending with Survey Eight in 2018 when they were between 40 and 45 years old. Hypotheses will be tested using clustered data analyses in Mplus 8.7.
