Canonical Quantization of Scalar Temporal Flow: Quantum Completion of the Scalar Temporal Field Ontology
This work presents the canonical quantization of the Scalar Temporal Field Ontology (STFO), completing the theory at the quantum level by promoting both the spacetime metric g_{μν} and the scalar temporal field τ to quantum operators. Using a Hamiltonian formulation, the Wheeler–DeWitt constraint is deparametrized with τ as an internal physical clock, yielding a Schrödinger-type evolution equation for the quantum state of spacetime. The formulation resolves the Problem of Time by identifying τ as the generator of unitary quantum evolution. A covariant path-integral description is provided, and the ultraviolet structure of the effective action is analyzed. The results establish a consistent quantum foundation for STFO and link the quantum notion of time directly to classical scalar-temporal dynamics and strong-field gravitational observables.
