Qualia-Exclusive Simulation Thesis (QEST): A Coherent Theory of Everything Integrating Consciousness, Rendering Dynamics, and Physical Law
The Qualia-Exclusive Simulation Thesis (QEST) proposes that physical reality is dynamically rendered from an underlying Probability Grid (PG) in response to conscious observation. This Theory of Everything unifies quantum mechanics, general relativity, and consciousness studies by introducing a measurable consciousness variable (Φ) that modulates wavefunction collapse. QEST predicts that reality renders following computational optimization, explaining the ubiquitous emergence of the Golden Ratio (φ) as the most efficient structural constant. The theory offers a novel interpretation of black holes, solving the singularity and information paradoxes by positing that black hole interiors become computationally unrendered (Dead Pixel regions), with excess information expelled via Hawking radiation. A key addition formalizes the classical speed of light as the maximum update rate for rendered classical information, resolving the apparent contradiction between instantaneous quantum entanglement and classical locality. QEST is validated by five independent, fully-described, falsifiable predictions: First-Time Observation Render-Latency: measuring the delay when previously unobserved regions are rendered. Telescope Spectral Rendering Cost: detecting differences in the apparent arrival times of photons of varying energies due to rendering cost. Consciousness-Dependent Collapse Grading: stronger collapse effects induced by observers with higher consciousness measures (Φ). Photon-less Black Hole Interiors: confirming the Dead Pixel hypothesis by observing black hole interiors and Hawking radiation. Latency-Absence Alien Observation Test: detecting prior collapse of regions by non-human intelligence if the first-time render latency is absent. QEST provides a fully coherent, experimentally testable framework where consciousness and computational efficiency drive reality, presenting a comprehensive, falsifiable Theory of Everything.
