Impact of Ancient Rural and Urban Culture on Modern Human Life
Abstract Ancient rural and urban cultures have influenced modern life, such that rural areas still retain traditional social structures, an economy based on agriculture, and a closeness to the natural environment. Urban culture has led to the development of modern infrastructure, fast-paced life, and high technology. The influence of both cultures is still evident today. Such as migration from rural areas to urban areas and technology from urban areas being used in rural areas. Relationships and community cohesion based on primary groups such as the family are still a feature of rural life. Many rural economies still depend on agriculture and related industries. Compared to urban life, rural life is simple and peaceful.
