VALUABLE IMPACT ON STANDARDS AND REGULATORY ASPECTS

The aim of this document is to review the current standards and regulations regarding the use of yeast oils and chitosan in cosmetics and adhesives/resins that could affect the VALUABLE project value chain(s). Indeed, in VALUABLE’s Grant Agreement, it is proposed that regulatory aspects regarding cosmetics are one of the main barriers that the VALUABLE project must face. This document will also assess the possible effects of these ingredients and their regulations on future EU policies and strategies.
