Ontology of Unconcealment as a Process of Entropy Reduction in Digital Art
This is the English version of the original Polish publication (Version 1.0). The article introduces a formal ontology of unconcealment based on information theory (Shannon), negentropy (Schrödinger), Landauer’s principle, and algorithmic complexity (Kolmogorov, Bennett). Silence is defined as a state of maximal informational entropy, the signal as an act of its reduction, and the image as a record of negentropy within the digital structure. The model is falsifiable, predictive, and universal, enabling quantitative analysis of creative processes in digital art and in generative artificial intelligence (AI) systems.
