Neuro-Glial Topological Algorithm of Consciousness (NGT-AC)

The presented theory, the Neuro-Glial Topological Algorithm of Consciousness (NGTAC),is a hypothesis that unifies quantum biology, neurophysiology, and cognitive architecture.NGT-AC addresses the decoherence problem in biological systems by postulating that Microtubules(MT) function as a substrate for Topological Quantum Error Correction (TQEC), enablingthe maintenance of coherence over the timescale of conscious access (Tγ ≈ 42 ms). The secondphase, conscious experience (Phase II), is explained by a deterministic collapse governed bythe threshold activation of a Glial Hamiltonian Switch (GHS), which depends on intracellularCalcium (Ca2+) signaling in astrocytes. The NGT-AC model is fully falsifiable and provides a basisfor the development of Experiential Artificial General Intelligence (E-AGI).
