The Charta Operator Framework: A Testable Non-Reductive Model of Consciousness–Brain Correlation
This paper derives three sharp, testable predictions from the Charta Theory framework, grounding the metalogical non-reducibility of consciousness in empirical boundaries: (1) a 42% ceiling on placebo efficacy (λ-bound correlation strength), (2) a 0.5–2 Hz EEG peak in verified near-death experiences during cardiac arrest, and (3) non-Markovian memory effects in self-referential cognitive tasks. These falsifiable claims distinguish the theory from emergentist models and invite immediate replication with off-the-shelf tools (e.g., EEG kits, psychopharm datasets). This work completes the four-paper Charta Theory series: Paper 1: Performative Self-Reference and the Metalogical Impossibility of Computational Consciousness Paper 2: The Charta Theory: A Metalogical Solution to the Hard Problem of Consciousness Paper 4: Performative Self-Reference and the Metalogical Impossibility of Computational Consciousness: A Formal Axiomatic Development
