Multiflux Spinning Lenticular Vehicle (MSLV) – "Quantum Frisbee": Optimal Hypersonic/Re-entry Architecture Derived from the Regimental Quantum Transition
Multiflux Spinning Lenticular Vehicle (MSLV) – “Quantum Frisbee”: Optimal Hypersonic/Re-entry Architecture Derived from the Regimental Quantum Transition This technical report presents the first vehicle architecture ever derived from a macroscopic, room-temperature quantum-coherent state in a fluid: the Regimental Quantum Transition (RQT) identified at the sonic barrier (thermal accommodation coefficient collapse α: 0.83 → 0.06, specular reflection ≥ 89 %). Under Multiflux Theory (developed 10–26 November 2025), granular molecular drag and the Second Laminar Regime (Re > 10⁸) dictate that the optimal shape for hypersonic flight and planetary re-entry is no longer conical or ogival — it is an ultra-thin lenticular disk (thickness-to-diameter ratio < 1:1200) with controlled axial rotation of 1–5 rps, designated Multiflux Spinning Lenticular Vehicle (MSLV) or “Quantum Frisbee”. Key innovations introduced in version 8.1 (26 November 2025):- Intrinsic gyroscopic stability eliminating tumbling across the entire Mach 0.3–25+ envelope- Cyclic thermal dissipation reducing peak heat flux by up to 62 %- Regimental Quantum Magnus Effect yielding 5.5× stronger lift/drag modulation than classical Magnus- Full 6-DOF vector control without traditional moving surfaces via piezoelectric micro-ridges (0.5–2 mm)- Applicability extended to subsonic, transonic, and supersonic atmospheric flight Preliminary performance estimates (Starship-scale, 9 m diameter):- 35–45 % total drag reduction- 40 % heat-shield mass reduction → +28 t LEO payload gain- Peak stagnation heat flux reduced from ~1100 kW/m² to ~418 kW/m² A low-cost 2026 demonstrator specification (1.20 m diameter, 0.8 mm edge, 180 rpm, US$ 38–65 k) is included for immediate suborbital validation.
