White Paper: Ensuring Data Sovereignty: TANGO Platform Solution for Secure and Trusted Data Flows Across Europe

This second TANGO Project white paper focuses on the distributed trust framework that underpins the TANGO platform. It presents the key components that enable trustworthy data sharing and identity and access management as well as security and privacy mechanisms within TANGO’s distributed infrastructure. Additionally, the paper outlines a set of policies and recommendations that are aligned with the TANGO platform’s architectural principles.Building on the conclusions of the first white paper (A TANGO Project White Paper on Distributed Infrastructures, Secure Data Exchange & Data Spaces), this document draws on several public deliverables previously submitted by the TANGO consortium. Following this introduction, the next two chapters explore the TANGO distributed trust management framework and associated policies and recommendations. The white paper concludes with a summary of key discussions and findings.
