EvoRoads Project Deliverable 6.2: "Data Management Plan (v.1)"

This deliverable, D6.2 Data Management Plan, developed within the EvoRoads project (Grant Agreement ID: 101147850, Horizon Europe) under WP6 – Project Management, Task 6.4 “Responsible Innovation: Ethics, Open Access and Data Management,” presents the first version of three of the project’s Data Management Plan (DMP). It outlines EvoRoads’ strategy for managing, sharing, and preserving research data, ensuring alignment with FAIR principles to optimise data findability, accessibility, interoperability, and re-usability. The DMP describes the datasets generated and collected across the project, detailing the type of information produced, applicable frameworks and guidelines, access conditions, and procedures for handling, storing, and preserving data during and after the project. For each dataset, a structured metadata description is provided, including data summaries, FAIR provisions, allocation of resources, data security, ethical considerations, and any dataset-specific requirements. The metadata profile used for dataset documentation is presented to support consistent and high-quality data stewardship. The document also clarifies how EvoRoads’ research data will be exploited, made accessible for verification and reuse, and curated for long-term preservation. As a living document, Deliverable D6.2 will be updated at M18 and M36, reflecting project progress, newly generated datasets, and evolving data management needs.
