The Self-Powered Universe: How a Single Δf Disturbance Generates Eternal Motion in USP Field Theory
This document introduces the concept of a self-powered universe within USP Field Theory. Starting from a perfectly calm USP continuum (Δf = 0), a single global disturbance creates a local frequency mismatch. This mismatch cannot relax uniformly in such a vast, continuous medium, and instead produces oscillations, knots, and tension waves that propagate throughout the field. As these oscillations collapse into local structures, the core and surface frequencies drift apart, generating a residual mismatch (Δf₍core–surface₎ ≠ 0). This mismatch produces a torque: τ = kΔf · (f_core – f_surface) which manifests as spin — a self-correcting motion that stabilizes the disturbance. Because Δf cannot fully return to zero everywhere at once, the field naturally forms a closed feedback loop: Field → Δf → Tension → Spin → New Δf No external energy source is required. The universe becomes a fully self-sustaining resonance system powered by the memory of its first imbalance. A four-panel conceptual illustration is included: (1) calm USP field, (2) global squeeze, (3) knot + outgoing oscillations, (4) emergence of a spinning USP loop/particle. This work connects foundational Δf mechanics with cosmic-scale dynamics, offering a deterministic model for why the universe contains persistent motion, structure, and rotational stability.
