CONTEMPORARY ETHNIC ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND BUSINESS IN THE LIGHT OF SIMILARITIES AND DIFFERENCES
This article provides a comparative analysis of the paradigm and discourse surrounding contemporary ethnic entrepreneurship and ethnic business. The lack of clear distinctions between the concepts of entrepreneurship and business, identified in numerous foreign and Russian-language publications, including academic ones, and discussions about the differences between business and entrepreneurship, prompted this case study. Through a historiographic study of English- and Russian-language academic publications, the articles reveal a range of interrelated aspects, including the diversity of definitions of ethnic entrepreneurship; differences in the characteristics of entrepreneurship and business; the key characteristics and components of ethnic entrepreneurship; and the characteristics of ethnic entrepreneurship among Koreans abroad.
