D6.5 EuroGO-SHIP Impact Video Report

The EuroGO-SHIP project brought together 14 partners to work towards enabling the European community conducting hydrographic observations at sea to provide higher quality and more sustainable data flows to a broad range of end users, more effectively. The project demonstrated how to strengthen European capabilities to deliver world-class oceanographic science, which is key to inform policies and to meet the goals of the EU Mission “Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030” and the wider objectives of the EU Green Deal. To encapsulate the many success stories and results of the project and highlight the impact it has had through consultations with the ship-based hydrography communities around Europe, a legacy video was planned, produced and delivered as a 5:40 minute short documentary. The video was first screened at the Final Event on the 5th of November 2025 in Brussels, Belgium, to an audience of stakeholders including funders and marine Research Infrastructure representatives as well as members of the consortium team. Its second screening was at the project webinar held online on the 20th of November 2025. It was then published on YouTubeand promoted on social media. Abstract
