Object-Oriented Paradigm as a Method for Formalizing Character Properties in Fictional Universes (on the Example of the Character Representation of Nekhlyudov in Leo Tolstoy's Novel "Resurrection")
This article originated as a student project presentation and was subsequently published in Vilnius University Open Series (2024). It proposes a conceptual framework for applying object-oriented programming principles to formalize character properties in fictional universes, using Nekhlyudov from Tolstoy's “Resurrection” as an example. The framework distinguishes between textually specified properties, those inherited from cultural stereotypes, and those introduced by adaptations. English translation by the author.
