"Anwar Frangi's Unfolding Revelation: The Group as a Divine Mandate for a New Era of Groupal Theology."
DisclaimerThis work is published with the full authorization and endorsement of Professor Anwar Frangi. It represents a faithful extension of his original framework, drawing on materials from the unpublished fourth volume of Groupal Religion (2015), which centers on Frangi’s Vision (1977), and reflecting years of groupal engagement through the Oral Summer Groupal Seminars (OSGS, 1998-present). All OSGS quotations are transcribed by Professor Frangi himself and are cited with their respective session dates. Abstract This article examines the theological system of Anwar Frangi as an unfolding divine revelation that culminates in the Group as the central subject of a new theological epoch. It argues that Frangi’s 1977 Vision marks a decisive rupture in the history of revelation, transitioning divine agency from personal manifestation in singular figures to a collective manifestation in the “Divine Group.” The article is structured in two parts. First, it analyzes the historical and theological crisis of “persona-petrification” that necessitated this shift and details the Vision itself as the birth of a mandate directed to the Group. Second, it explores the systematic consequences of this mandate: a fourfold unfolding of revelation into a coherent theological architecture, crystallized in foundational doctrinal equations. The study concludes by outlining the profound implications of this shift, contending that Frangi’s revelation redefines the nature of faith, salvation, and human community, calling for a participatory, groupal existence as the authentic continuation of divine life in the dawning Age of the Group.
