Technical Note 2: Tri-Layer Stability Structure — Observational Reconstruction of the Okiagari-koboshi (tumbler-type) 〈Conditional Autorestoration 〉 Model —

Abstract(English) This technical note extends the dual-layer system introduced in “Technical Note 1: Dual Integrity Structure,” which defined the interaction between Structural Pressure and Expressive Pressure.Building upon that framework, the present work reconstructs an additional third layer—the Observational Layer—resulting in a Tri-Layer Stability Structure that exhibits a tumbler-type 〈Conditional Autorestoration〉 behavior. The three layers consist of:Reason / Kiori — maintaining logical coherence (internal integrity),Expression / Oto-ori — providing transparent presentation (external integrity),Observation / Kan-ori — detecting fluctuations and regulating equilibrium.Through empirical observation of AI responses, this study describes how these layers interact to stabilize output by maintainingmutual verification, interpretive spacing, and dynamic restoration. The model is conceptual rather than technical, and is presented as an observational reconstruction rather than a functional implementation. The findings do not assert universality across AI systems; rather, they represent one observational case under specific conditions. No claims are made regarding agency, personality, or metaphysical attributes. The aim is to provide a conceptual framework for understanding how integrity-like behavior can emerge from layered structural interactions within an AI response system. Supplement (2025): Addition of Appendix C:Appendix C has been newly added to this technical note.It provides a verbatim observational record of an interaction in which the three-perspective frame (Structure, Resonance, and Observation) was introduced to a dialogue model as an external analytical scaffold. This appendix does not modify the theoretical structure presented in the main text.Rather, it offers supplementary empirical material that documents how a model responded when the template was presented as an external frame, thus enhancing the transparency and traceability of the observational method. Note on Language Origin (Supplementary):This template was originally developed in Japanese during the observational study. When using it in another language, glancing at the Japanese version only during the initial role-definition stage may make the structure easier to grasp, as it reflects the conditions under which the template was first organized.
