Synthesis of Modified Fusicoccane Diterpenoids via Diverging MHAT Reactivity

Cotylenin and fusicoccin diterpene glycosides modulate the stability of 14-3-3 protein-client interactions. Here, we report the divergent syntheses of representative aglycons, brassicicene (BR-I), and talarmalnoid B (Tal-B) by modification of Studer's Mukaiyama hydration variant.

Abstract

Cotylenin and fusicoccin diterpene glycosides modulate the stability of 14-3-3 protein-client interactions. Here, we report the divergent syntheses of representative aglycons, brassicicene (BR-I), and talarmalnoid B (Tal-B) by modification of Studer's Mukaiyama hydration variant.
