Unifying the threads of workplace digitalization: a bibliometric analysis of research tenor between 2014 and 2024

Purpose The study aims to assess the previous contributions to workplace digitalization, pinpoint potential and research gaps and offers a research agenda that tackles several concerns related to workplace digitalization. Design/methodology/approach A literature review has been conducted with 254 articles since 2014 till 2024 using bibliometric techniques to map the intellectual and conceptual quotient of workplace digitalization. Findings This study illustrates the theoretical underpinnings and future course of investigation on workplace digitalization. Further, the conclusions of this study will also aid in establishing several predictors of workplace digitalization important for contemporary business functions. Originality/value As a precise examination of prior contributions to workplace digitalization research, it posits how workplace digitalization might be crucial in tackling modern day business concerns.
