Nonminimal coupling in a fermionic primordial universe
A cosmological model for a primordial universe is put under analysis, where a fermionic field with a nonminimal gravitational coupling is the main cosmological source. The determination of the scale factor in the classical world follows from the hamiltonian formulation. The behavior of the scale factor in the quantum realm is determined by the use of the Wheeler–DeWitt equation. The usual singularity in the classical solutions is not present in the quantum solutions, and the scale factor expectation value depends on the nonminimal coupling parameter [Formula: see text]. The classical and quantum solutions coincide for large values of the conformal time due to a dilution of the quantum effects with evolution in conformal time.
