One ACORN, Two Forces: Newton and Coulomb as Complementary Projections of 5D Curvature
Newtonian gravitation and Coulomb electrostatics are historically treated as distinct long-range interactions, their similarities dismissed as coincidence. This paperdemonstrates that they are in fact complementary manifestations of a single underlying mechanism: the ACORN mass partition and its 5D curvature dynamics. The empirically established inertial decompositionm = mNE + meq, meq =43πqem, (1)identifies two internal energy channels within every massive particle: a neutral evencomponent mNE that does not change sign under charge inversion, and an odd electromagnetic component meq that does. These channels exist as orthogonal hyperbolicphasors in the (x, cT) plane and exchange curvature at the Compton frequency, preserving invariant mass. When many ACORNs combine, incoherent phases among meq cancel, while mNEadds statistically, yielding an always-attractive inverse-square interaction—Newtoniangravity. When odd-channel phases remain coherent, the resulting large-scale curvaturegenerates a signed inverse-square interaction, recovering Coulomb’s law. Thus,FG(r) = GmAmBr2, FE(r) = 14πϵ0qAqBr2, (2)1arise not from separate forces, fields, or particles, but from the same curvature engine operating in different coherence regimes. Gravity and electrostatics are thereforeunified—not by quantisation or symmetry groups—but by geometry.
