Potential of vitamin D3-loaded nanoemulsions in alleviating core autism spectrum disorder symptoms
We have carefully reviewed the recent article by Meguid et al. (2025), titled “Improved core manifestations of autism following supplementation with vitamin D3-loaded nanoemulsion,” published in LabMed Discovery . This study addresses a significant gap in autism spectrum disorder (ASD) research by exploring the potential of nanotechnology to enhance the bioavailability of vitamin D3 and its effects on core symptoms, presenting a novel and clinically relevant approach. We aim to underscore the strengths of this study and propose several points for further discussion, which may enhance our understanding of vitamin D3 supplementation in the context of ASD.
