WOMEN'S SAFETY: POLICY ARRANGEMENTS AND STRUCTURAL FACILITIES

Abstract The main purpose of this paper is to know the status of women security, safety and the different facilities given by our country. As per the women, peace and security index 2023, India has ranked128th out of 177 countries. Our nation has given constitutional protection and enacted laws to empower women. In 2018, women safety division is formed with six sections to tackle the crimes against women. In addition to safety, steps have been taken for economic development of women so that they can empower themselves. Key words: women safety, legislative, constitutional, empower, Act
