Re-Vitalize: A Smart Waste Management Web Application

Rapid urbanization has led to increased waste generation, exerting pressure on existing waste management systems. Inefficient collection, lack of real-time communication, and poor public awareness contribute to environmental pollution and higher operational costs. Re-Vitalize is an innovative web-based waste management application designed to streamline waste segregation, collection, recycling processes, and citizen participation. This paper presents the design, development, and evaluation of the Re-Vitalize platform, focusing on its architecture, modules, features, and potential impact on sustainable urban waste management. The results show that digital platforms like Re-Vitalize can significantly improve efficiency, transparency, and environmental sustainability. This system helps bridge the communication gap between citizens and waste management services by providing a fast, accessible, and centralized platform. Overall, Revitalize enhances environmental awareness, encourages responsible waste disposal, and contributes to creating cleaner and more sustainable communities.
