Refutation of Hawking's Information-Loss Paradigm (1976) via the Universal Ψ Equation
This article provides a complete mathematical refutation of Stephen Hawking’s1976 claim that gravitational collapse leads to a “breakdown of predictability” andto the destruction of information. Direct citations are taken from the uploadedsource Hawking1976 (PDF) :contentReference[oaicite:1]index=1. We show that theinformation-loss argument is an artifact of semiclassical inconsistencies: Hawkingquantizes fields on a fixed background, assumes singularities, and abandons unitaritywithout deriving this from any variational principle. Using the Universal Ψ Equation,a closed, parameter-free spinorial functional, we demonstrate that no informationlossis possible, no breakdown of predictability occurs, and that the collapse processis globally coherent. The Ψ functional provides the full dynamical content that thesemiclassical treatment lacks, thereby invalidating Hawking’s conclusion.
