ψ-Retention Cosmology: A Structural Framework for Stability Beyond Metric Spacetime
This work presents ψ-Retention Cosmology, a structural framework in which the Universe maintains coherence through the persistence of internal differences (Δψ) rather than through metric expansion or geometric continuity. The model introduces a retentive node (Ξ), a structural retentive constant (Λψ), and an intrinsic temporal variable τ, all of which remain well-defined even in regimes where classical spacetime breaks down. A full Lagrangian formulation is developed, demonstrating that Λψ contributes a stabilizing structural term distinct from the cosmological constant Λ. The resulting modified Friedmann dynamics predict a long-term non-accelerating, non-collapsing state governed by internal coherence. The framework offers a mathematically grounded account of stability beyond observability limits, including horizons, metric collapse, and loss of external coordinates, and proposes a new class of retentive ground states with bounded, intrinsic evolution.
