APPROACHES TO BUILDING A CONCEPTUAL MANAGEMENT MODEL FOR A CONSTRUCTION ORGANIZATION IN THE CONTEXT OF IMPLEMENTING ESG PRINCIPLES

Current trends in the development of the national economy determine the need to integrate the ESG approach into the management of a construction organization. The article analyzes the works of domestic and foreign scientists on issues of sustainable development, strategic management, management of a construction organization and the implementation of the ESG approach in management. Thus, the article examines the works of representatives of classical economic theory (A. Smith, D. Ricardo, W. Petty, P. Boisguilbert, T. Malthus), developing ideas of the welfare of the population and achieving social goals.; the works of representatives of the schools of strategic management (G. Mintsberg, M. Porter), exploring the values of senior management that influence the formulation of an organization's strategy; the works of scientists who served as the basis for the concept of sustainable development (G. Bowen, K. Boulding, L. Meadows), as well as the works of modern representatives exploring the specifics of the ESG approach (E.V. Zhukova, M.I. Ermilova, I.A. Morozova, O.G. Shalnev, and others) in various functional areas of management. The analysis of theoretical sources made it possible to develop a conceptual management model for a construction organization in the context of the implementation of the ESG approach, which justifies the conditions for the application of the ESG approach, as well as a methodology for assessing the readiness of a construction organization for its implementation, a functional model involving the decomposition of management tasks, taking into account classical functions by management levels, information and analytical support and efficiency assessment management. To determine the results of the implementation of the ESG approach in the activities of a construction organization, the author has developed a two-level assessment model. The presented conceptual model of management of a construction organization in the context of the implementation of the ESG approach substantiates the author's logic of the study, the composition and content of its main stages, their interrelation and the results obtained.
