Proto-Metabolic Field Emergence Under Prebiotic Earth Conditions: A 600-Million-Year High-Resolution Global Simulation
This study presents a high-resolution global simulation exploring whether proto-metabolic organization can arise under realistic prebiotic Earth conditions through purely physical, energy-gradient-driven dynamics. Using a long-timescale planetary evolution model, the simulation incorporates hydrothermal fluxes, tidal cycling, mineral-catalyst variability, ion gradient fluctuations, and large-scale field interactions across a 600-million-year span. The system converges toward a stable metabolic-like attractor exhibiting long-range coherence, structured energy utilization, and persistent node-based stabilization. No biochemical pathways, explicit molecular reactions, or reconstruction-level rules are modeled. All internal mechanisms remain sealed within the computational engine to prevent reverse engineering and to ensure scientific safety. This work contributes new theoretical insight into how metabolism-like behavior could emerge naturally from physical constraints alone, complementing prior studies on early Earth environments, field-based organization, and prebiotic complexity.
