Advantages of Blended Learning in Higher Education in India A Mixed-Methods Study
This research paper explores the advantages of blended learning in the context of higher education in India, using a mixed-methods approach. Drawing on both quantitative data (e.g., internet penetration, SWAYAM enrollment, exam scores) and qualitative insights (student and faculty perspectives), the study demonstrates how blended learning improves flexibility, academic outcomes, and learner engagement. The paper also examines challenges such as the digital divide and the need for faculty development, offering policy-aligned recommendations. The findings align with India’s National Education Policy 2020 and support the integration of blended models to enhance access and quality in tertiary education.
