FACE DETECTION & SECURE VOTING USING FACE RECOGNITION TECHNOLOGY
This research presents a secure electronic voting system that uses facial recognition as the primary authentication method to prevent impersonation and duplicate voting. The system is developed using a ReactJS front end, Node.js/Express back end, and MongoDB database. Facial embeddings are generated in the browser using face-api.js and TensorFlow.js, ensuring privacy by avoiding transmission of raw images to the server. The platform includes secure voter registration, face-based login, a protected one-vote-per-user mechanism, and real-time result visualization. This work demonstrates how modern web technologies and deep-learning-based face recognition can be combined to build a reliable and user-friendly biometric voting solution.
