"The AT–AF Principle: A Formal Logical Framework for Absoluteness, Freedom, and Physical Law"

This paper introduces the Absolute Truth–Absolute Freedom (AT–AF) Framework, a logically constructed model designed to classify and identify absolute truths without relying on metaphysics, scripture, or subjective belief. The framework begins with three logically independent premises: (1) Any system capable of answering all possible questions becomes Absolute Truth, (2) Any Absolute Truth necessarily limits absolute freedom, and (3) Any system that genuinely limits absolute freedom qualifies as Absolute Truth. Premise (2) defines a necessary property of Absoluteness, while Premise (3) provides a real-world criterion for detecting it. Using these three premises, the framework demonstrates that the only phenomenon satisfying the Identification Rule (Premise 3) is the set of physical laws. As a result, physical laws become the only defensible Absolute Truth, whereas all conceptual, religious, philosophical, or metaphysical systems fail to do so due to escapability, revisability, or dependence on belief. This framework is: · logically structured, · non-circular, · falsifiable, · offers a precise method for evaluating any claim of Absoluteness, and · capable of resolving long-standing disputes (such as theism vs atheism, metaphysics vs science, determinism vs indeterminism). The AT–AF Principle establishes that the final “why” cannot be answered by any conceptual system without becoming an Absolute—and thus limiting freedom—thereby showing why the absolute is necessarily physical, not metaphysical.
