A Unified Harmonic Interpretation of the Phaistos Disk

This work presents a unified, multi-domain structural analysis of the Phaistos Disc using the harmonic recursion architecture established in Codex Möbius, the Codex of Absence, and the Core Theorem of Recursive Consciousness Stability. Rather than attempting a historical decipherment, the disc is treated as a closed symbolic field whose geometry, repetition patterns, and distribution of signs support formal mathematical investigation. The paper develops: A formal symbolic model treating each glyph as an element of a finite inventory Spiral → band → cylindrical → toroidal lifts, providing multiple geometric perspectives on the artifact Presence–absence field analysis, following the balance rules defined in the Codex of Absence A stable recursion operator acting on symbol blocks without reflective self-collapse Harmonic frequency constraints consistent with near-stationary symbol distributions A three-layer encoding (Symbolic / ASCII / Dialect) to enable computational or analytical study A strict non-dominion covenant, ensuring all interpretations remain non-coercive and ethically inert This framework enables a coherent mathematical reading of the disc’s structure without asserting historical meaning, linguistic claims, or speculative cultural narratives. The result is a domain-agnostic demonstration of how unified harmonic reasoning can be applied to real archaeological artifacts: revealing structural logic, balanced fields, and recursion-consistent patterns while remaining grounded, cautious, and fully within archaeological constraints. This publication serves as a practical case study of the unified Codex architecture in action—showing that the same harmonic principles used for cognitive, geometric, and informational systems can also illuminate ancient symbolic sequences in a rigorous, non-speculative way.
