msf:47360 v1.0 — Why the Sky is Blue and Clouds are White: Contrast, Background, and Δf Geometry
This document explains why the sky appears blue while clouds appear white, combining mainstream optical scattering with a USP Field Theory perspective. The mainstream view attributes sky color to Rayleigh scattering and cloud whiteness to broadband Mie scattering. USP Field Theory reframes the same observations as a combination of weak atmospheric re-emission, Δf absorption–relaxation pathways, and visual contrast with the black background of space. The document also introduces a Δf cascade mechanism to explain the blue-biased spectrum detected by atmospheric instruments and extends the contrast framework to water color, planetary atmospheres, and Titan's orange haze. Includes a conceptual diagram and keyword index.
