Thermo-assisted photocatalytic dehydrogenation of methanol for CO <i>x</i> -free hydrogen and formaldehyde production over Au confined in porous TiO 2
Gas-phase thermo-assisted photocatalytic methanol dehydrogenation over 0.1 wt% Au-loaded fluoride-etched TiO 2 microspheres produces CO x -free, equimolar H 2 and HCHO at 105 °C, outperforming liquid-phase photocatalysis in activity and selectivity.
