Towards a Global Quantum Internet Made in Europe QIA and Our Work - Scarlett Gauthier and Michał van Hooft

The European Quantum Internet Alliance (QIA) unites over 40 leading European institutions to build a global Quantum Internet made in Europe. This presentation will outline QIA’s mission to develop the first full-stack entanglement-based quantum network and to foster a scalable European quantum ecosystem. It will also highlight QIA’s key platforms: the Quantum Network Explorer (QNE) for learning and application development, NetSquid for large-scale network simulation, and SquidASM for executing quantum applications. Together, these tools advance Europe’s leadership in quantum networking.
