Standardised Assessment of PV Array Simulators

PV array simulators are used for testing PV and PV battery inverters. A test procedure has been developed to evaluate these simulators, ensuring realistic PV module and array behavior. It provides laboratories with uniform test conditions and helps developers optimise their devices. The proposed procedure includes three phenomenological tests with random PV inverters and three potentially standardisable tests examining properties like accuracy and frequency response.
