COGNITIVE DISTORTIONS IN THE MANAGERIAL ACTIVITIES OF THE ORGANIZATION'S MANAGERS
The article discusses the problem of the influence of cognitive biases on the process of managerial decisionmaking. Based on the analysis of scientific literature, key distortions are identified: the illusion of control, confirmation, causal attribution, the heuristic of success, planning error and the halo effect. It is established that the most pronounced distortions are the «accessibility heuristic» and the «confirmation stereotype», which leads to the adoption of suboptimal decisions based on limited and subjectively interpreted information.
