Emergence of the Cosmological Arrow of Time from Ultra–Low Entropy Boundary Conditions
This study presents a high-resolution reconstruction of the cosmological arrow of time beginning at 10⁻¹⁰ years after the origin of the universe. Using ultra-low-entropy boundary conditions, near-false-vacuum initial states, and full relativistic field dynamics, the simulation tracks entropy growth, symmetry-breaking transitions, curvature evolution, gravitational-wave background formation, and early structure emergence across 13.8 billion years. Results show that temporal directionality arises naturally from extremely low-entropy primordial conditions, amplified by inflation, field-mode bifurcation, and curvature-seeded instabilities. The system exhibits strong global stability, zero topology variance across 4096 ensemble realizations, and a coherent emergent field structure with well-defined physical properties. These findings provide a quantitative foundation for understanding the origin and persistence of the arrow of time in cosmology.
