Stability Optimization and Vibration Control of Auxetic-Core Composite Plates to Enhance Maritime Logistics Economy
This research paper proposes a novel analytical framework for the combined purpose of maximizing the stability and managing the oscillations of composite plates with auxetic honeycomb cores, in order to facilitate the maritime logistics system. The auxetic core, together with perovskite face sheets, forms a sandwich plate structure that, while being the very first one, will still enhance the mechanical property significantly and also will not cause any issue of vibration in the maritime sector. A constitutive model is revealed in this study that joins the optical, electrical, thermal, and mechanical factors and is, thus, given with a thorough approach to understanding and predicting the behavior of the material under different types of external stimuli. The interfield coupling that is responsible for the complex deformation characteristics of the material is one that is shown through first-order shear deformation plate theory. Hamilton’s principle is used to establish the governing equations, and the Ritz method combined with Chebyshev polynomials is employed to obtain the system’s dynamic response. In addition, the execution of the Gram-Schmidt process guarantees a precise and fast solution. The results show that the auxetic-core composite plates have unbelievable improvements in stability and vibration control, thus becoming a good choice for maritime logistics, where the minimization of structural vibrations is essential for efficiency and reduction in maintenance costs. The proposed framework not only assists in the development of composite materials for high-performance, multi-functional applications but also provides new avenues for research in the design and optimization of these materials.
