The Law of Cognitive Phases (CPL): Formalizing Observer State Transitions in Subjective Physics
Version 3.0 presents the Cognitive Phase Law (CPL)—a formal principle governing discrete state transitions in cognitive observers within the paradigm of Subjective Physics. The law defines three canonical phases — Cognitive Coherence, Cognitive Fragmentation, and Reorganization—based on observer entropy, projection stability, and entropy rate. Reproducible simulations (seed=42) validate predicted hysteresis, critical slowing, and path-dependent transitions, confirming cognition as a non-equilibrium system with quantifiable phase-space topology.
