Replacing Expansion with Information Decay: A Unified Cosmological Framework

This work proposes a new cosmological framework based on an information-first perspective. Instead of interpreting cosmic expansion as a physical stretching of space, the model describes the universe in terms of informational dynamics, where decay of information replaces the role of expansion. Within this unified framework, cosmological phenomena such as redshift, horizon structure, and entropy growth can be consistently explained without invoking dark energy. The approach emphasizes the primacy of information as a fundamental quantity, offering a conceptual alternative to the ΛCDM paradigm. This submission includes the main article (6 pages, 3 figures). Supplementary materials and related resources will be made available via Zenodo with a DOI.
