ψ⁸: A Pre-Geometric Architecture of Retentive Difference in Cosmology and Fundamental Physics
This manuscript introduces ψ⁸, a pre-geometric scientific architecture in which retentive difference (Δψ) operates as a fundamental invariant of physical reality, independent of spacetime, curvature, matter, or energetic gradients. The framework defines a stabilizing retentive node Ξ and an internal evolution parameter τ (“ψ-time”), enabling physical structure to persist even when classical geometry collapses — inside black holes, before inflation, and at the thermal future limit of the Universe. ψ⁸ provides a unified explanation for several unresolved anomalies in modern cosmology and high-energy astrophysics, including: • large-angle CMB alignment (ℓ < 50), • neutrino phase coherence (IceCube/KM3NeT/Baikal), • dark-energy–like acceleration without vacuum pressure, • horizon-scale correlations, • and information persistence beyond event horizons. The ψ-Lagrangian formalism establishes a stable relation between Δψ and Ξ, positioning retention — not geometry — as the primary structural principle of the Universe. Classical GR and QFT appear as limiting cases where retention becomes negligible (Δψ → 0). The manuscript includes: • full ψ-Lagrangian derivation, • retentive horizon formalism, • cosmological predictions, • falsifiable observables, • and an internal Scientific Battle Review addressing foundational questions of consistency and testability. ψ⁸ is presented as a foundational scientific breakthrough, offering a coherent pre-geometric layer beneath all conventional physical theories and opening new directions in cosmology, astrophysics, structure formation, information survival, and autonomous systems.
