Emergent Cosmological Dynamics from a Unified Field-Theoretic Vacuum Structure
The standard ΛCDM cosmological model successfully describes the universe's evolution but relies on the ad-hoc introduction of dark matter and dark energy, whose fundamental physical nature remains unexplained. This paper presents a unified theoretical framework, the Matrix Identity Field (MIF) theory, which resolves these foundational issues by deriving all large-scale dynamics from the intrinsic structure of the quantum vacuum. The MIF theory posits a fundamental vacuum rigidity scale, m₀ ≈ 70 MeV/c², which is derived from established electroweak parameters (mₑ and α). From this single scale, we rigorously derive two distinct, emergent mechanisms that modify gravitational dynamics: (1) a static modification of the gravitational force law in the weak-acceleration regime, characterized by a fundamental acceleration scale a₀ = m₀c³/ħ ≈ 3.2 × 10⁻¹⁰ m/s², which is identified as the Modified Newtonian Dynamics (MOND) constant; and (2) a dynamic, dissipative force, termed Vacuum Friction (VF), proportional to the time derivative of acceleration (F_VF ∝ -da/dt). We demonstrate that the synergistic action of these two emergent effects provides a coherent and quantitative explanation for a wide range of astrophysical phenomena: The observed magnitude of the cosmological constant (ρΛ) is derived directly from the fundamental acceleration scale a₀ via a holographic scaling relation. The Local Group "timing argument" is quantitatively resolved, eliminating the need for massive dark matter halos. The apparent mass discrepancy in galaxy clusters is explained as a combination of the static MOND effect and the dissipative action of VF on chaotic cluster dynamics. A novel mechanism is proposed for the structural refinement of the cosmic web, where VF acts to sharpen filaments and deepen voids. This work establishes a unified, predictive, and falsifiable paradigm that replaces the phenomenological components of ΛCDM with a coherent physical theory rooted in the fundamental properties of the vacuum.
