National Digital Health & Welfare Portal project

The National Digital Health & Welfare Portal (NDHWP) is an integrated digital platform developed to streamline healthcare and welfare services under a unified system. The main objective of this project is to provide citizens with easy access to verified healthcare professionals, digital medical records, government schemes, and welfare benefits through a secure, centralized online interface. The portal enables patients to register, book appointments, consult doctors, and view their health history, while administrators and medical staff can manage data efficiently through the backend dashboard. The system is designed using modern web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, and MongoDB to ensure scalability, security, and performance. It incorporates authentication features for patients, doctors, and administrators, ensuring data confidentiality and preventing unauthorized access. Additionally, the platform integrates government health schemes and AI-based modules to recommend welfare programs to users based on their medical and demographic profiles. The NDHWP aims to digitalize health management and welfare distribution in India, reducing manual inefficiencies, eliminating data redundancy, and promoting transparency in service delivery. This project demonstrates how technology can be effectively utilized to build a bridge between citizens, healthcare providers, and government authorities, supporting India’s vision of a digitally empowered society.
